The RightProcess
What makes a process "right?"
Simply put, a process is "right" when it includes:
  • A Process Workflow
  • A set of accompanying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

This is because people don't actually execute a process, they execute the standard operating procedures that correspond to the various steps within a process.

The 3-Step RightProcesss Methodology helps to depict the relationship between these three components that make a process "right."
  • Step 1:  Define the Process - Start by defining a Process Workflow with the right level of detail.
  • Step 2:  Identify the SOPs - From there, identify all of the areas within the process where Standard Operating Procedures are needed.  Click here to view a sample SOP.
  • Step 3:  Identify the KPIs - Lastly, identify opportunities to measure the effectiveness of the process.
